With Sympathy

My fifth and last card for CDAC Progressive Challenge 16.  This challenge ends to-day, but if you have not taken part before, you can buy in for $l.00, five new images should be posted to-morrow.
This beautiful victorian type image is from Nana Vic.  I have made it into a sympathy card.  I printed the images roses and bird cage on DP from Colorbok.  The sentiment stamp is marked @2001 PSX.
The butterfly stamp is from Stampin Up.  I colored the roses and butterfly with copics Milky white.

Hope you all enjoy the rest of the day!

Camelia

Running out of time, but this is my fourth card for the CDAC Progressive Challenge.  The Camelia is a lovely image from Wax Fruit Company.  I have colored the flower with copics and the stamens with a Jelly Roll pen.  The background is cardstock with wide white ribbon with a leaf pattern wrapped around it.  And to complete it a white card.

Got my first game of golf in this morning for this season.  It sure was cold out there, we were a threesome and had a good time. Maybe next week it will be warmer and the scores will be better!

Pretty Kitty

This pretty Kitty is from Just Some Lines, for the CDAC Progressive Challenge 16, which ends to-morrow.  I have kept the card fairly simple, paper piecing the bird and the butterfly and adding some beads which I stitched around the cats neck.  The beads cast a shadow in the picture.  The DP is from Chatterbox Inc. A fun card and quick to make.

Golfing to-morrow morning if it is warm enough - hope so, too cold last week.

Anniversary Wishes

We are so lucky that there are so many talented artists that give freely of their time to provide us with such wonderful images for the CDAC Progressive Challenge, this being 16, series 3.  This digital image is from McMahon Five Designs and I have colored everything with copics, and then applied Ranger Walnut stain over all.  The butterflies are a stamp from The Stamp Barn.  The sentiment is a stamp from Kolette Hall.

My son Gord and his wife Linda have been married 20 years next week, and I think I will give them this card.  My eldest son Rob and his wife Sharon will also be married 20 years come September, how time does fly.  Both have wonderful families.

Girl in Red

Such a sweet little image to work with from Whoopsidaisy Digi Stamps.  The card is for the CDAC Progressive Challenge.  The image is colored with copics and the background was sprayed with Memories mists. Popped up the images and the sentiment. A few stitches on my machine to add the Ribbon and Lace from my stash.  The sentiment was computer generated.  A fun card to make.

Hope that I can get more cards done for this challenge series, off to a slow start this time.  Will be nice when my husband is better and at home again.  He has his hip x-rayed next Thursday to see how it has healed, and hopefully will be home soon after that.  (No weight bearing on the left leg for six weeks.)

King Bear

My last card #6 for CDAC Progressive Challenge 15, series 3.  This little brown bear is an image from Pixies Piecings which I have colored with copics.  Framed with a Spellbinders Die. And then I used a south west corner punch and added some cord to the edges.  The rhinstones were from Studio 18.  This challenge was all about bears!

Can't wait to see what images the next challenge will bring.

Birthday Bear

The fifth card for CDAC Progressive Challenge 15, series 3.  This bear is also from TLC, but this time he has a cupcake with three candles.  I have colored the bear and the cake with copics.  I added the sentiment with the computer on DP from my stash.  The bottom portion  is a cuttlebug folder with dots. Then a piece of white ribbon and two metal flowers with brads from Nunn Design to complete the card.

Busy day, don't know if I will get the last card finished before tomorrow or not.

Just to say Hi!

This is my fourth card for the CDAC Progressive Challenge, another bear, this on from TLC Creations, isn't he adorable!  I have paper pieced him, added flowers; Fabrice Fancies from Prima.  I added the HI so that I can use this as a note card when needed.

Went to the coffee party this morning for the Monday Morning Gypsies which I belong to, the weather sure does make you feel like golfing.  We signed up for an early start next week, looking forward to being outside a little more.

Bear On A Cloud

This is my third card for CDAC Progressive Challenge 15, Series 3.  It is a sweet image from Bugaboo Stamps.  I have paper pieced and also used my copics on the image.  The DP is from My Little Shoebox and the sentiment is from my stash.  A little bit of stickles on his heart.
I am up late, waiting on my son and his family coming to stay the night and tomorrow they will visit with my husband who is still in the hospital.  Then, on their way home they will drop my son, Ken at the airport to go back to Africa to work for six weeks.

I'ts a Boy Bear

This cuddly looking image of the bear with the bottle is from Mami Doodles.  I have colored him with copics and then colored the Petaloo Butterfly in the same colors.  I have used a nine square design on the card background.  This card is for the CDAC Progressive Challenge 15, Series 3.  This is the 2nd card I have completed for this challenge.

It was suppose to rain to-day - we did get a few minutes of rain but otherwise it has been a beautiful day, quite mild.

Miss Pink

This is my first card for the CDAC Progressive Challenge 15.  The images are all bears this time.
This sweetie is from Inked Treasures and I have colored her with copics.  The glitter border is cut from a Spellbinders die, and Art Accentz glitter applied.  A row of pink sequins and DP from my stash finish it off.
